How to Get Your Numerology Karmic Number

You may think your name is random, or that your parents picked it because they liked it, or wanted to name you after their favorite musician. But that’s not the case!

Numerologists believe your parents chose a name that matched your energy while you were still in the womb; that they intuitively sensed your vibe, and chose your name based on your energetic frequency.

How cool is that?

That’s why we’re going to use your name to reveal your numerology karmic number. And all it takes is three simple steps!

Numerology newbie? Learn what numerology is and how it works.

Step 1

Write out your full name, as it appears on your birth certificate. Be sure to use the name you were born with since that is the one your parents “vibed out” for you.

Step 2

Use the chart below (download it here for free) to match the corresponding numbers to the letters in your name.

For example: Sally Anne Smith would be S A L L Y (1+1+3+3+7), A N N E (1+5+5+5), S M I T H (1+4+9+2+8)

numerology chartStep 3

Write down any numbers between 1 and 9 that DON’T appear in your name.

In Sally Anne Smith’s case, her name includes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9. The only number that’s missing is 6.

That means 6 is her numerology karmic number.

Karma tip: Though karma is often discussed as being bad, it isn’t necessarily true.

We all come here to learn things we haven’t learned in other lifetimes.

Plus, it’s common to have several karmic numbers; some people have four or five, but that’s not bad in any way… it just means that you are working on several karmic lessons (like an A+ student!)

What Your Karmic Number Means

Now that you’ve got your numerology karmic number(s), it’s time to look at the meaning. Don’t worry, it’s simple!

All you need to do is use the info below to learn what your karmic lessons are.

Number 1

Your lessons revolve around building your individuality, confidence, and willpower.

You may often find yourself in situations where you need to take the lead or stand up for yourself.

When you nurture your skills and take action (even when you’re afraid), you can be successful at whatever you set out to do! Score!

Number 2

Your lesson is to develop discretion and discernment. Once you become more diplomatic and a team player, your life will be easier, and you will be more successful.

Number 3

For you, it’s about being less critical and demanding. You see, when you loosen your standards for yourself and others, you will find joy.

So relax and let your creative passions flow! This will also help bring the financial security you desire and motivate others.

Number 4

Your lesson is to develop your inner power.

You tend to struggle with the meaning and purpose of your life, but once you decide what you want and act on it, you will be much happier.

There’s a time to contemplate and a time for action. So, don’t spend your life thinking. Take action to achieve your life purpose.

Number 5

Your lessons are about taking opportunities and broadening your horizons.

When you stop being afraid of change, your life will bloom. You are here to learn to trust, and develop an adventurous spirit so you can go with the flow.

Number 6

You fear commitment. Though you form relationships with others, you never fully open up to them.

So, start revealing your true self, and trust that they will accept and love you. This will help you feel less lonely.

Number 7

You need to learn to use your talents, and numerology reveals that you will be given plenty of opportunities to offer your talents to the world!

But in order to share them, you must first learn to trust in them yourself. Once you do, the world will celebrate them and you.

Number 8

One of your lessons is to learn to be less careless with money and authority.

You may often find that you don’t have the financial resources you need. But once you learn to be a better steward of money, you will enjoy more abundance!

Start having a thriftier relationship with money, and you will become successful, and draw wealth to yourself.

Number 9

You are here to learn to be more compassionate and understanding. You have so much to offer humanity, but your unwillingness to compromise holds you back from sharing your gifts.

Don’t worry, though. There’s enough of you to go around. Start opening up and practicing compassion, and you will be happier and more successful!
