Clairvoyance Meditation to Open Your Third Eye

Clairvoyance meditation is key if you want to open your third eye. And I’ll be honest…

I love teaching this technique because people are always surprised at how simple it is.

If you have about 10 minutes, and a quiet space, you can try it right now. It’s that easy!

The main factor in this exercise is visualization.

If you’re a visual person, this psychic development exercise will help strengthen your clairvoyance.

On the flip side, if you struggle with visualizing in your mind’s eye, these steps will help. Either way, it’s a win-win!

To get started, just follow these easy steps:

1. Get Comfortable

Start by choosing a quiet place to sit, and relax for a few minutes.

You can do this clairvoyance meditation sitting upright with your feet on the floor, or you can sit or lay however you are most comfortable.

2. Breathe

Place your hand on your stomach, then close your eyes and take some deep breaths.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. (Many people make the mistake of breathing too shallow from their chest when they begin, which is why I suggest placing your hand on your stomach.)

As you breathe in, feel your stomach expand. This will ensure nice, deep breaths.

3. Begin the Clairvoyance Meditation

In your mind, imagine the number one; imagine it as any size and color you want.

For example, when I imagine the number one, I close my eyes and see it covered in sparkly gold glitter!

Now, try to hold the vision in your mind for a few seconds.

As you focus on the vision, you may start to feel a tingling sensation in your forehead, between your eyebrows. This is where your third eye chakra is located, so this sensation is normal. (Actually, it means your clairvoyance is opening up!)

If you don’t feel anything, that’s okay, too. Sometimes it takes a little bit of practice, especially if you are a beginner.

Tip: If your mind wanders during the clairvoyance meditation, relax and don’t stress out. When I first started with meditation, my mind kept wandering to my grocery list!

But I promise, it gets easier with practice. If your mind wanders, gently return your focus to the number one.

4. Move on to the Next Vision

When you are ready, move on to visualizing the number two.

Once again, allow the image to come into your mind’s eye in whatever way you choose. When I close my eyes, I see beautiful sunflowers arranged into the shape of the number two.

Let your imagination go wild… or relax and see what vision appears in your mind!

When you feel ready, repeat the process for the numbers three, four, etc.

If you’re a beginner, I suggest you practice until you get to the number five, but you can go all the way to 10 or higher if you want!

Struggling to Open Your Third Eye?

Visualization comes easily to some people, while others need a little more practice. If you fall into the latter category, try this:

  • Write down the number one on a piece of paper, and make it bold. For example, write it large with a permanent marker, or jazz it up using a bright blue crayon!
  • Now stare at the image for a few seconds, THEN, close your eyes and visualize the image. Trust me, this little tip helps a lot!

Clairvoyance Meditation: Next Steps

If you get bored with numbers, or want to switch it up, choose something else to visualize, such as:

  • Beautiful flowers
  • Colors
  • Trees
  • The alphabet (or your name)
  • A beach
  • Going to see your fav band in concert
  • Anything your heart desires!

Remember, it only takes a few minutes each day for this clairvoyance meditation and it’s super helpful in opening the third eye.
