Clairvoyance meditation is key if you want to open your third eye. And I’ll be honest…
I LOVE teaching this technique because people are always surprised at how simple it is. If you have about 10 minutes, you can try it right now. It’s that easy!
The main factor in this exercise is visualization.
If you’re a visual person, this psychic development exercise will help strengthen that ability. And if you struggle with visualizing in your mind’s eye, these steps will help. Either way, it’s a win-win.
1. Get Comfortable
Start by choosing a quiet place to sit and relax for a few minutes. You can do the clairvoyance meditation sitting upright with your feet on the floor. Or you can just sit or lay however you are the most comfy.
2. Breathe deeply
Close your eyes and take some deep breaths. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Many people make the mistake of breathing too shallow from the chest when they begin. That’s why I suggest placing your hand on your stomach.
Now, as you breathe in, feel your stomach expand. This will ensure nice, deep breaths.
3. Begin the Clairvoyance Meditation
In your mind, imagine the number one. Imagine it as any size and color you want.
As you do this, you may start to feel a tingling sensation in your forehead, between your eyebrows. This is where your third eye chakra is located, so this sensation is normal. Actually, it means your clairvoyance is opening up. Yay!
(If you don’t feel anything, that’s okay, too. Sometimes it takes a bit more practice.)
Tip: If your mind wanders during the clairvoyance meditation, relax. When I first started, my mind kept wandering to my grocery list.
But I promise, it gets easier with practice. If you are having a tough time focusing, gently return your focus to the number one.
4. Next Steps
Can you see the number one in your mind? Great! Now, hold the image in your mind for a few seconds. When you are ready, move onto the number two, three, etc., all the way to 10.
When you can close your eyes and easily see the numbers 1-10 in sequence, then you’ve mastered this step. Congratulations!
If you’re struggling to open your third eye, give this a try:
Write down the number one on a piece of paper. Make it prominent. For example, write it large with a permanent marker, or jazz it up using a bright blue crayon.
Now stare at the image for 10 seconds. Close your eyes and visualize the image. Believe me, this little trick helps a lot!
5. Moving Forward
Instead of numbers, you can also visualize flowers, colors, or anything you’d like!
Remember, it only takes a few minutes each day for this clairvoyance meditation and it’s super helpful in opening the third eye.
